'tis the season

i'm craving chocolate cherry oatmeal cookies. and tomato basil soup. and fried yucca with garlic sauce. and tamales.

and stamps. i'm really craving stamps cause my 2nd and 3rd wave of carding must take place today. one set for the kidlet's 3rd birthday party, one set for the people who've yet to receive a javinator pic this season.

christmas is the number one reason to send out pictures of your beautiful little boy and his big cheesy grin (though my sis said his hair looks like a toupee!). cause then people call or write and tell you how amazed they are by his photogenic good looks.

and i'm a big ole narcissist and i live vicariously through this child of mine who loves old Davey & Goliath cartoons and dancing on tables.

p.s. he's over the flu. and suffering from a horrible case of cabin fever that resulted in him falling in love with my mother's spider-infested basement. it's like entering another universe for him - one full of broken furniture, moldy clothes, and tons of beatup toys.

and spiders of course. which he loves thanks to our lack of forsight on the whole spiderman = cool deal.

anyway, he's better and there's no more almost 103 degree fevers and no more whimpering in the middle of the night and thank the gods cause little boys can die from this shit.

woah. nasty thoughts there. update on the shooter ... i realized i know him. well, i knew him about 7 years ago, but it's fucked up all the same. esp since i realized it only after an article about how he had a violent history.

anyway - it's lunch time.
