something that really bothers me (there were two things but i can't remember what the other one was. perhaps i'll add it later):

people who say tuna fish rather than just tuna. what kind of damn sense does this make? do you say filet mignon cow? or how about prime rib cow? or chitlins pig? i'm sorry, but i didn't realize anyone needed clarification as to what type of animal tuna is. of course it's fish. so stop telling us! it's stupid and redundant. stop doing it!
